Privacy notice

What we collect

• Your full name.
• A short description of the items you are donating (optional).
• The proof photo you upload. It is stored as an image file and anyone with its direct link can open it, so do not photograph anything you would not want seen.
• Your IP address and browser details (user agent), logged automatically with each registration.
• Whether you tick the "packed and coming" box and the items you pledge on the commitment form.

Earlier registrations (before the form was simplified) may also hold a phone number and email address.

Why

To issue your token number, run the collection desk and the contest draw, sort and account for donated items, and spot duplicate or fake submissions (IP address and browser details are used only for that). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who sees it

The drive organisers at the collection desk, and the service providers that host the site and store files and the database (Vercel and Neon). Photos are not published by us.

How long we keep it

Registrations and photos are deleted within 12 months after the drive ends. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time (see below).

Children

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must submit on your behalf and agrees to this notice for you. We do not knowingly collect a child's data directly, and we do not track or advertise to children.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent, and you can complain to us first and then to the Data Protection Board of India. Email the address below with your token number.
